Bahá’u’lláh and The Bab~the dynamic duo

So I started to do a really in-depth Blogg about these two but quickly realized how long it would have been! So I stripped it down to the base facts and decided to provide websites for more info on each

The title “Bahá’u’lláh” means “The Glory of God”. Bahá’u’lláh is the Messenger of God for this age and the Promised One of all religions. He declared His station in 1863, the announcement was of little surprise to many who knew Him. Bahá’u’lláh suffered 40 years of torture, imprisonment and exile.  He was exiled from Tehran in Persia (Iran) to Baghdad and then Turkey before being sent to ‘Akká, in the Holy Land, where Bahá’u’lláh passed away in the year 1892. He had 3 wife and 14 children during his life.

Sayyid Ali Mohammed started life as an Iranian merchant raised in the faith of Shi’a Islam. Upon the announcement of his revelation, he became known as the Bab (“gate” in Arabic). He was understood to be the gate to God or, as Baha’i think of him, the gate to the next full Manifestation of God, whose coming the Bab foretold. Surprising I didn’t find alot dealing with just him………..
